...this morning, I gave birth to a 9 lbs, 3 oz 23 inch long almost bald boy.

This baby boy at age 28 continues to be almost bald, is 75 inches tall, and has fathered 3 children himself. He now wears very thick glasses and a go-tee type beard. He is very lean now as compared to when he was born--almost skinny!

For his birthday this year, he plans a joint party with his youngest son, who will be 2 in a couple of weeks.
The theme is a "man party", per Tim Allen, complete with a keg of beer, steaks grilled with a blow torch, and watching DVDs such as Terminator and Die Hard (the male children at the party will be escorted away prior to the DVDs).

Besides being a math whiz (ergo his profession of engineering), he loves God with his whole heart, is a good dad and husband, and gave me very little trouble as he grew up. The trouble that did happen was usually a response to what was happening with the adults in his life versus any deliberate malfeasance on his part.

I look at the children of most of my friends and know I am quite fortunate.

Happy Birthday, Only Son!
