Hat tip to Morgan for this wonderful quote. She got it in Canon Law (her fave class) from a prof who was my favorite professor at VTS:
"The reason why it's ok for a family member to report that there has been an act of sexual misconduct in a church is because not many men care that they are having sex with their female rectors, but their wives often do."
