Haircut and other things

I did get my hair cut today to show off the curls. But the wind here today is gusting to 40 mph. You can imagine what it did to the curly hair, so there are no photos today.

Next week I'm getting the old woman mustache waxed off as well as the eyebrows my old woman eyes can't see to pluck. It'll be better to do a new photo then, to save the hubris I have left!

There is an annual Garden Walk in the Rapid City area on Sunday afternoon. T and I already had planned to go to a play and eat dinner in the Northern Hills, but I really wanted to go to the Garden Walk. I love gardens and plants, although my own yard is not one that at present could support a vegetable garden (which is what I would have). So, after worrying about it all day long yesterday, I approached T with the idea that a play is on each night for many nights but the Garden Walk is only once a year. Could we change our reservations? He hemmed and hawed, but after some negotiation, we decided that I should go to the Garden Walk, and we would go to a play and dinner in the Northern Hills on August 17th.

Baby steps, baby steps. I just have to get used to the idea that he will not cut me off if I suggest anything I want.
